Ryan Smith

Qualtrics was founded by a father, two brothers and a friend. One of the brothers, Jared, is the technology genius who we’ve known for a long time. Jared was off-the-charts smart, very technical and strong on product. But we had never met his brother Ryan, who was running the company. When we did meet Ryan, it became clear this was not only going to be a great product, it was going to be a great business. Ryan had clarity, energy, and ability to lead. If you are lucky, you only find that in a couple people each year.
