Jack Dorsey

We first met Jack in his apartment in San Francisco, when Square was just two founders and a couple of developers. Right away, we were hooked by the app and card reader. Like kids with a new toy, we did payment demonstrations on our colleagues as soon we got back to the office—and invested shortly thereafter. It’s a testament to Square that what to us in 2011 felt magical, now seems commonplace—a phone as a credit card terminal.
